Our mission is to preserve this historic building & grounds.

Community Club

The community club meets the first Saturday of every month.

Anyone can be a member.

Our meetings start at 7:00. To start, a club member blesses the food. We recite the Pledge of allegiance to the American flag then the pledge to the Georgia State flag followed by - NOW WE EAT!!!

Our meetings are “DDDelicious” so everyone brings either a dish, desert or drinks except guests that is.

When everyone is full the President of Sunnyside will share sunnyside news asking members for input and we all discuss.

The meeting is adjourned.

Community Center

Sunnyside Event space boasts flexibility and features - including an open floor plan, kitchen, elevated stage area, accessible entryways and plenty of seating and tables onsite for your party’s use.

The Center welcomes the community to rent the building for:

  4. Graduations

  5. Plays - stage shows

  6. Dinners

  7. Reunions

  8. Bridal and Baby Showers

  9. Birthday Parties

Historic Foundation

The Sunnyside Historic Foundation cares for this precious building and grounds.

Taking care of a Historic 103 year old building and grounds is not easy and it cost to keep it up. The foundation relies on membership dues, rental, donations and volunteers to make it happen.
